About the Artist

Leslie is a professional artist from Colorado.  She is best known for her captivating pastel paintings that capture light and reflection with delicious drama and an occasional uninvited guest. Her award-winning pieces have captured the eyes of art lovers at the local, regional, and national level.  Her pastel paintings have been shown and sold in California, Massachusetts, Wyoming, Texas, Colorado, and Kansas. Awards and recognitions have included Best of Show and Peoples’ Choice. Her work has also been accepted into the Pastel 100 Competition featured in Pastel Journal.

 

She is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, a Signature Member of the Pikes Peak Pastel Society, a member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, and a member of the Colorado Pastel Society.  Leslie spent many years creating commissioned art pieces and murals. She now focuses on waterfowl paintings and pastel paintings of her own originality.
